THANKSGIVING DAY WITH OUR FAMILY

We had a wonderful day!

As you see, everyone seemed to have more fun outside then inside. My two sisters were here with their husbands, Jan and Bruce, and Dot (Bruce' mom) and Carol and David, also my good friend Lea and Bob were here. My son, Donny, his wife Shelly and our two grandaughters , Amber and Madelynne. Also David's son, Jason and his girlfriend, Elise were having a blast on the golf carts. I mean tearing up the back yard, we have about 4 acres they were running circles around in. The younger boys got to drive too (with adults along), so that made their day! We have 5 golf carts, one is a 4x4.
My nephew came from the Panhandle area with his 2 sons, Joseph and Jeremy.
My grand daughter and Jeremy enjoyed a ride on Cocoa. Everywhere that Cocoa went, Cisco followed, Cisco will not leave Cocoa's side.

I had to put the picture of the dog in here, he was a riot! He was recently adopted from the dog pound by my son, he is Donny's shadow, he chased Donny around on the golf cart for about an hour-non stop. He is the best little guy, his name is Coda, goes to work with Donny. He is very obedient, house broken, and all the kids can play on top of him. He was a great pick!

We had turkey, corn and old fashion dressings, ham, sweet potatoe casserole, corn souffle, carrot raisen salad, waldorf salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean almondine, lots of homemade bread, and about 8 pies. It truely was a blessed day!

When we were all done cleaning up the kitchen, my 2 sisters, Lea and I sat down on the couch and we started going from one to another and said what we are thankful for. It was a very good time to relax and to be thankful. We would always end up on the Lord, He is the source of all our blessings!
We love you!
Thanks for stopping by and checking us out!

OUR NEW ADDITIONS

Here are some more pictures of our newcomers. I tried to get a good picture of the Donkey, He has a cross on his back, He is a Bethleham Donkey. Above, you can see our yard where we keep them, and the bigger area in the back we are going to finish fencing in this weekend.Forget the barn!, Cisco does not like to be confined, so the last 2 nights, they are outside. They are an adorable pair. They are still getting to know us. But as soon as we go outside they start braying. I am still learning the lingo. I do not know how well you can see, but we have alot of fence posts up now (above) and we have alot to go. They will have a nice size yard to run in soon.

RIDING GOLF CARTS

Some of our family riding around on the golf carts. We have a few for sale, they are a hit around here. Shelly holding Madelynne. Donny riding around in the Joyner Commando, which is a nice 4x4, Amber is in a few of the pictures too.Lexie is a friend of the family. She enjoys the riding too.

NEW ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY

Amber with Her new horse Carab, she wants to call her Cocoa. The little donkey is a Bethleham Donkey, He has a beautiful cross on his back. His name is Cisco. My son, Donny is holding the horse. This is the first time Amber has ever been on a horse, she was a little cautious. Amber was only on her about 3 minutes, but she loves her.
We are in the process of fencing in a bigger area out back. Right now the Carab and Cisco are in the side yard, which is a small fenced in area of about 50 x 50. We have a large barn that we made a little section for them to stay at night. Cisco does not seem to like it in there. He loves all the treats though! We give them apples and carrots a couple times a day to snack on. They are such a sweet pair. We are new to having Equestrians. We have alot to learn. Everywhere Carab goes, Cisco follows. Shelly is driving Amber around in the golf cart. We have 5 golf carts, everyone loves to play around in them.

PRAISE REPORT JULY 28

2 days ago, My son Donny was doing a screen enclosure job over a swimming pool.
In His words, He was up on top of a 6 foot ladder trying to put in a very heavy panel, and because it was so stubborn getting in , He stepped on very top of the ladder, and gave the 300 pound panel a hefty shove. When he did this the ladder twisted and Donny came down, not onto the pool deck, but into the empty pool, 12 feet down. He landed in about 1 foot of water, and on his feet. UNHARMED!! The other guy there helping him, could not believe what he just saw. Donny said, " my mother must be praying for me"
Which I do, I pray Ps 91 over my family almost daily! Jesus said in John 6:63 " My Word that I speak unto you is Spirit and Life. He watches over His Word to perform it!

God is awesome!
